Heather Brown Olsen is “Of Counsel” at Welby, Brady & Greenblatt where she is involved in handling the firm’s transactional real estate matters, primarily for Connecticut properties, including commercial and residential properties, finance and refinance transactions, purchases and sales. In addition to transactional real estate matters, Attorney Brown Olsen brings forty years of experience to the firm as land use and planning counsel, construction contract review, contract administration and arbitration, administrative appeals (tax, zoning, municipal), title litigation (adverse possession, easements and restrictive covenants) and business formation and estate work for succession planning.

Heather has spent her career using a client-centric approach to real estate matters, with collaborative resources to bring about efficient results. Heather has chaired the real estate committee of the Fairfield County Bar Association and presented real estate and land use continuing education programs for the bar, including co-chairing the committee for the current Fairfield County Bar Residential Real Estate contract. Attorney Brown served as an executive committee member and architect of the land use and planning initiatives for the Roton Point Association, one of Connecticut’s first recreational condominiums located in Rowayton, CT. She also represented the developers of the South Ramp at Sikorsky Memorial Airport, leading to land use approvals and structuring the business model for aircraft hangar locations and installation of privately owned hangar units on the site. Her career includes many reported decisions as an appointed magistrate and attorney trial referee with the Connecticut Superior Court, and as a trial attorney, with Connecticut Supreme Court and Appellate Court decisions.
