GREGORY J. SPAUN
Gregory J. Spaun is a 2000 graduate of Brooklyn Law School, where he received his J.D. degree cum laude. Prior to his legal education, Mr. Spaun attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice, earning both B.A. and M.A. degrees in Criminal Justice summa cum laude.
After graduating law school, Mr. Spaun served as an Appellate Court Attorney with the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department. During his time at the Appellate Division, Mr. Spaun was exposed to a wide variety of legal issues and gained valuable insight and expertise in the appellate process. Since entering private practice, Mr. Spaun, while using the skills he learned in governmental practice, has narrowed his practice to commercial, construction and real estate litigation, where he has represented contractors, property and business owners, developers and municipalities.
In his spare time, Mr. Spaun is active in his community, where he has been volunteering his time as an Emergency Medical Technician in his local Fire Department for over 15 years.
