History

1988
In 1988, Thomas H. Welby founded The Law Offices of Thomas H. Welby. Mr. Welby founded the firm with the intention of providing the construction industry with legal expertise with the foundation of real-world construction and engineering experience. This legacy has stayed true within the firm over the years, to first and foremost contribute esteemed legal knowledge to the construction industry.

In 1991, Lillian Krusz joined Thomas H. Welby as the Managing Partner and the firm’s name changed to Welby & Welby. Additionally, Michael E. Greenblatt joined the firm as an Associate.

In 1997, Gerald P. Brady merged his firm with Welby & Welby to form Welby & Brady.

1998
In 1998, Michael E. Greenblatt became a Partner. The firm is renamed Welby, Brady & Greenblatt, LLP after the three founders.

In 1999, Anthony P. Carlucci Jr. joined the firm as a law clerk.

In 2001, Thomas S. Tripodianos joined the firm as an Associate.

In 2002, Paul G. Ryan joined the firm as an Associate.

2006
In 2006, Thomas S. Tripodianos, Anthony P. Carlucci Jr., and Paul G. Ryan became Partners at the firm. Together they lead the next generation of Welby, Brady & Greenblatt, LLP as owners of the firm.

In 2007, Alan D. Singer and Alexander A. Miuccio joined the firm as Partners.

In 2009, Gregory J. Spaun joined the firm as an Associate.

In 2011, Robert W. Bannon II joined the firm as an Associate.

2013
In 2013, Founders & Senior Counsel Thomas H. Welby, Gerald P. Brady, and Michael E. Greenblatt celebrated 25 years of the firm with their successors Thomas S. Tripodianos, Anthony P. Carlucci Jr., and Paul G. Ryan.

In 2014, Gregory J. Spaun became a Partner.

In 2015, Frank Gramarossa joined the firm as an Associate.
