Gregory J. Spaun Appointed to Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors

Welby, Brady & Greenblatt, LLP is proud to announce that Gregory J. Spaun, Partner, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Habitat for Humanity Dutchess County.

"Our mission is to build homes for working, low-income residents and be a voice for access to affordable housing.  Mr. Spaun's experience in the area of Construction Law and his dedication to the community will help Habitat to increase its build capacity and offer additional home ownership opportunities for low income working families."

Mr. Spaun has been an attorney in practice for 16 years, the last eight of which have been spent practicing construction law as an associate and then as a Partner with Welby Brady & Greenblatt, LLP, serving clients throughout the Hudson Valley and Tri-State area.  Mr. Spaun has a history of contributing to community interests including a previous position on the Board of Directors of the Glen Oaks Volunteer Ambulance Corps in Queens, and more recently as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician with the Lagrange Fire District. He has lived in Dutchess County with his wife and two sons for nearly 10 years.

"I was saddened when family and professional commitments prevented me from continuing with my volunteer EMS work after 20 years.  I am humbled by the opportunity given to me by Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County to continue working for the community."
